As a dual citizen of Ecuador and the U.S., I've always been fascinated by how goods travel across borders. That curiosity led me to study Supply Chain Management at University of Nebraska at Kearney, where I got hooked on partnering with leading supply chain companies to solve real operational problems through the annual SCM Case Pitch Competitions.

After years of remote UX design work, I wanted to revisit that connection I felt solving complex supply chain issues. So I joined Chewy's fulfillment center, working on the floor as a fulfillment specialist while solving operational problems as a designer. Within 90 days, I was promoted to leadership, eventually holding three concurrent leadership roles while redesigning workflows that improved throughput by 15-25%.

That dual experience shaped my approach: I don't design from assumptions—I design from lived operational reality. I've worn the safety vest and felt the friction firsthand.

My approach: Understand the business constraints so we can design solutions that work for both the company and the end user. Good UX doesn't break operations—it makes them better.

I specialize in supply chain and logistics software because the best designers in this space aren't creating beautiful Behance mockups disconnected from reality—they understand the domain deeply enough to design for the messy complexity of global supply chains.
